Friday to Wednesday January 22 to 27 Du Can Range Circuit Tasmania FULLY BOOKED
A 6-day, clockwise, entirely off-trail circuit of Tasmania's Du Cane Range, beginning at Mount Gould and ending at Falling Mountain, with Mount Geryon, Mount Hyperion, Lake Elysia, Lake Helios and more in between. We access the Du Cane Range via Narcissus Hut and the Gould Plateau Trail on the way in and Du Cane Gap to The Overland Track towards Narcissus Hut on the way out. All walkers must be very well-known to the leaders as being capable of carrying a 6-day pack in difficult, cold, wet, off-trail conditions. Maximum 8. Grade 6.

Sunday 31st January to Friday 12th February - Western Arthurs Traverse FULLY BOOKED
The Western Arthur Range walk is a spectacular ridgetop traverse in South-West Tasmania. It involves rock scrambling, serious height exposure and pack hauling, in a very remote area. Walkers must be totally self-sufficient & carry their own camping gear. Approximately 115km with ascent 4000m minimum, up to 7000m with side trips. Maximum group size 6. Grade 7. Tour to the Spanish Pyrenees for Club members. The tour itinerary has been designed specifically for us and will be led by professional local walking tour company, Hike Pyrenees. Small group of approx. 15 utilising two mini-buses, each with its own local guide, allows us to have a choice of walks on most days – one easier walk and the other more challenging. For details, please refer to the NRBC Pyrenees Itinerary (note: dates on the itinerary are those for the 2020 tour that was cancelled due to the coronavirus threat. The tour is now rescheduled).

June 17 to July 1 for 2 weeks Interlaken Switzerland
The annual walking trip put on by a selection of Lancashire Rambling Clubs has been supported in the last three years by approx 50 of our club members. The walks are spectacular away from the main tourist areas. The cost is around $2400 pp for twin share accommodation with full board and local travel pass. The whole experience is unforgettable. The staff at the hotel (Waldhotel Unspunnen) including the owner, Stefan, is part of the “family”. The rambling clubs have been organising this trip for over 40 years and are experts in ensuring a fully enjoyable holiday on the best of the area’s walking trails. Social evenings are loads of fun.
