Monday 3rd June STAY 2 nights at Walcha Caravan Park > has 12 cabins of varying configurations. Other accommodation available in area eg Motel, Air BNB etc. WALK: Meet 3pm for town walk > Open Air Gallery, Historic Building Walk.
Tuesday 4th June WALKS: Tia Falls, Oxley Wild Rivers National Park. 38kms east of Walcha. Tia Falls 1.5km return; Tiara walk 5kms return; and Apsley Falls 19kms east of Walcha Gorge Rim Walk 450m and River Walk 500m and Oxley walk 3km return.
Wednesday 5th June Explore Walcha in morning eg outdoor sculpture park > Drive to Uralla >visit to Saumarez National Trust property. The historic house may not be open, but the grounds, farm buildings and extensive rose garden are. Dinner at Bowling Club (optional)
STAY: 2 nights at Armidale Tourist Park, 39 Waterfall Way
Thursday 6th June 10am Meet at Tourist Info Centre > Heritage Tour of Armidale 2.5 hours by bus. Donation. As the bus only has 15 seats, I will be booking ahead. Lunch at Armidale Art Gallery or elsewhere. WALK: Meet 2pm at Armidale Tourist Park > Gara Gorge 18kms drive > Threfall Circuit 5.5kms
Friday 7th June Drive to New England NP – approx. 65kms…..stopping at Wollomombi Gorge on the way.
WALK: Wollomombi Gorge – approx. 4kms or just lookouts….depending on time. STAY 3 nights at New England NP.
National Parks have 3 houses to rent in the park – The Residence, The Chalet, Tom’s Cabin – as well as a camping ground at Thungutti
1 house and 2 cabins are at www.twostyz.com.au > located at entrance to NP.
WALK: 2pm walk out to Wrights Lookout > using the Robinson’s Knob Trail. Meet at parking area just inside NP on right (near staff house). Walk is approximately 4.5kms return > easy walking but a short scramble up rocks to Wrights Lookout.
Saturday 8th June WALK: Starting at Tom’s Cabin > walk to Lyrebird Track and Tree Fern Valley > and return along top of escarpment – approx. 7kms and Cascades Circuit (4kms, 2 hours) will be added as another option. Steep and slippery sections on both walks.
Sunday 9th June WALK: Cathedral Rocks – out to Woolpack Rocks and back 12.6kms return; or shorter circuit around Cathedral Rock 5.8kms.
Monday 10th June WALK: 8.30am Starting at Banksia Point Picnic Area > Eagles Nest Track 2.5kms (2 hours) > has steep sections, walking poles recommended. This track goes past Weeping Rock…arriving at Point Lookout….then back the easier way to Banksia Point Picnic area.
Or Tea Tree Falls walk >Tom’s Cabin to Thungutti Camping – 45 minutes each way.

Saturday June 15 to Tuesday June 18 Yuraygir Coastal Walk
Four day walk starting at Angourie through coastal heathland, along sandy beaches, rocky platforms and with four assisted river and creek crossings finishing at Red Rock. 65km walk with 18kms being the longest sections. Grade 3. Staying in shared cabins along the walk. Limit 10 NRBC members. Walk leaders Suzi R and Chris M. Thursday June 13 to Thursday June 20 Cycling in Alsace France FULLY BOOKED
We will be based at two towns during the week, Colmar and Osthouse. The cycle covers the wine growing areas of Alsace and is mainly on cycleways visiting small villages, Strasbourg and the Rhine valley. For full details please click on the link below.

Thursday June 20 to Thursday July 4 Interlaken Switzerland FULLY BOOKED
The annual walking trip put on by a selection of Lancashire Rambling Clubs that has been supported in the last two years by approx 30 of our club members. The walks are spectacular away from the main tourist areas. The cost is reasonable. The whole experience is unforgettable. The staff at the hotel (Waldhotel Unspunnen) including the owner, Stefan are part of the “family”. The rambling clubs have been organising this trip for over 40 years and are experts in ensuring a fully enjoyable holiday on the best of the area’s spectacular walking trails. Sunday June 30 Tuntable Falls Nightcap NP
A pleasant walk down through rainforest from Mt Nardi, all on track, to a T intersection where we turn right. A short distance on we again turn right and follow a closed track to the creek - will involve some bush bashing following an overgrown track to the top of the falls, returning the same way.
