Sunday November 1 Belongil to Byron Lighthouse Full Moon Walk

Meet at The Tree house Belongil at 4pm for an immediate start along the beach to Byron, then along the roadway track and path to the lighthouse, returning via the pathway then the beach back to Belongil. Walk concludes from 6.30pm onwards. Optional take away pizza at Belongil to watch the moonrise over the water. Group size limit is 10. Monday to Saturday November 2 to 7 Tewantin

Arrive Monday 2nd November Tewantin, stay 5 nights. Group size limited to 20 people. Drive to Tewantin app. 320km from Byron. Stay Ingenia Holliday Park Tewantin, there are options for camping, vans and accommodation villas. For bookings please call Mark 07 33265869.

Monday 2/11 Arriving day, in the afternoon visit Noosa botanic garden. At night discussion & info about the weeks program.

Tuesday 3/11 Drive to Noosa to park cars. Walk Noosa south national park via Dolphin Point, Hells Gate and Devils Kitchen. BYO Picnic halfway. Return walk 23km

Wednesday 4/11 Drive from Tewantin to Eumundi app.18km. Walk the Ironbark trail 10.2km followed by possible lunch at Eumundi markets.

Thursday 5/11 Drive to Cooroy 15 km. Mac n Back return walk 28.5km. There are some shorter options if required by some, incl. climbing the Mt.Cooroora Summit Walk...a bit challenging...but shorter.

Friday 6/11 Tewantin Gyndier Drive, Bloodwood Woriovi loop 8.7km

Saturday November 8 Terania Creek

We set off from the Terania Creek Car Park and cross the creek and walk through rainforest eventually coming to a cave where we will hold morning tea overlooking a rainforest full of Bangalow Palms. In the afternoon we will return via a wonderful swimming hole, so cossies and towels will be required for the hardy ones. We will lunch here. November 13 to 15 Bush-camp at Cangai

Weekend camp in a bush setting on the banks of the Mann River, 40 minutes’ drive along the Gwydir Highway from Grafton. 2wd accessible, bring your caravan, van, camper trailer or tent. Arrive Friday afternoon, Saturday or Sunday as you like. BYO food and drink. There will be a fire to cook over at night or bring your own stove or BBQ. Communal cooking over a campfire is a possibility - further detail closer to the event when numbers are clearer. This is a bush block with no power or running water so please provide your own. A long-drop toilet is provided.

Saturday: Bushwalk with birdwatching, about 2 hours, grade 2. Swim in the river in a deep, calm waterhole. With sufficient river level, there will be various kayaking options. Option 1: White-water kayak from Jackadgery to the property, ~4 hours, 17km. Two grade 2 rapids and one grade 3 rapid (portage around possible) so white water kayak or Canadian canoe needed, suitable for beginners. Option 2: Flat water kayaks can be used on the section from Cangai Bridge to Cangai Broadwater Bridge (~5.5 km), ideal for novice paddlers.

Sunday: There will be the opportunity for those new to kayaking to do some short paddles on the river trying different kayaks lent by club members. There will also be another bushwalk with birdwatching around the property, about 2 hours, grade 2.
