About Us
The Northern Rivers Bushwalkers Club runs a variety of bushwalking, cycling, kayaking and abseiling activities each week in the National Parks, State Forests and coastal areas of the NSW North Coast Region, and beyond
The Club is located in the NSW Northern Rivers region, which includes Ballina, Lismore and Tweed Heads. The Club is affiliated with Bushwalking NSW and has been organising regular activities since 1976
The club puts on a wide variety of activities including bushwalking from easy grades through to pack walks. Car camps and weeks away to various parts of Australia and overseas happen regularly. Cycling, Kayaking and Abseiling activities regularly appear in the What's On program.
The Northern Rivers of NSW covers an area around Lismore, East to the coast, and North to the Queensland border. Here is a Google Map of the area
